My Story

Calendula was born from a deeply personal story.

Formulation has fascinated me my entire life. I'm a pharmacy technician and I've always enjoyed creating, mixing ingredients, understanding how they work on the skin, and finding ways to care for it.

But when I got sick, everything changed.

I had to leave my job and face a long and transformative process. During my radiation therapy, I prepared my own serum to protect my skin. I had done a lot of research on natural ingredients and which ones could provide the most support and well-being during that time.

Among them all, one shone brightly: the calendula flower.

It was a key ingredient in my skincare routine, along with aloe vera and other powerful extracts. Since then, calendula has represented rebirth, hope, and the wisdom of nature for me. That's why my brand is named after it.

A Time for Pause

After I recovered, I spent about five years in a difficult-to-describe phase. A time when I lived thinking about the illness. I felt there was no point in starting projects or dreaming long-term.

One day I understood that life goes on, and I decided to have the courage to start this journey.

Creating again was my rebirth.

My First Products

During my illness, I created the products I needed most at that time:

🌿 My own natural deodorants, because I stopped using commercial deodorants forever

🌿 My handmade soaps, so I can take care of my skin without harsh ingredients

🌿 My fragrance-free lip balms, because during my process I couldn't tolerate scents

I needed real products that were gentle and compatible with my skin.

Little by little, a part of me I thought I had lost returned: the creator, the curious woman who formulates and experiments. But now, with a much greater purpose.

My Certification

When I obtained my official certification as a craftswoman in soaps, natural oils, and handcrafted products, I felt like I was getting my life back.

That day meant a lot to me. It was confirmation that I can still create, dream, and contribute something valuable.

My Inspiration

I am inspired by nature, its wise and real way of taking care of us, and the deep desire to help other people.

Just as I found well-being and relief in nature, I want others to be able to benefit as well.

I firmly believe in the power of consciously choosing what we put on our skin. The skin is the body's largest organ, and everything we apply to it matters.

That's why I work with recognizable, honest ingredients with a clear purpose. Nothing is there by chance.

My Vision in One Word

If I had to summarize my vision in one word, it would be: Trust .

Trust in what has been created with intention, in the process, and in the fact that there are real alternatives to take care of yourself without compromising your health.

I work in small batches, paying attention to every detail. Each formula takes energy, time, study, and a lot of love.

Today I give myself permission to think big.

My dream is that anyone who uses Calendula can read the label and understand what they're putting on their skin, without any deception. That they choose intentionally, valuing natural products and genuine care.
